Written by Bence Miklauzic, Balint Hegedus and Ferenc Lengyel, the screenplay received a Special Mention at ScriptEast in 2011 for its dark humour, originality and the strength of its two main characters: a car park guard and a business man who will argue because of a parking spot in which the latter wants to park his car while this is the only unavailable spot in the eyes of the former. An argument that will turn sour and soon become a battle between two lonely men having to face their own existence.

Produced by Ivan Angelusz and Peter Reich for Katapult FilmCar Park benefits from a coproduction by RTL KLUB Hungary and the backing of the Hungarian National Film Fund (which will manage the international sales), Vision Team and Budapest Animation. The theatrical distribution, which is still being negotiated, is scheduled for September 2014.
