- The director of Saragozza, who trained in television with a variety of successful series, is working on Perdiendo el norte, for which filming will start in February
The director of Saragozza Nacho García Velilla will start filming for his third feature film in February 2014. The film is to be called Perdiendo el norte [+see also:
film profile] and will be a comedy of the romantic variety, unlike his previous work.
With a cast made up of Julián López, Blanca Suárez, Yon González and Pepe Sacristán, Perdiendo el norte is about a love story and its bumps with the backdrop of Spain’s brain drain, caused by the country’s on-going economic crisis.
Garcia Velilla is one of the main names among new directors who have managed to bridge work in cinema and television to great success. His big screen debut, Fuera de carta [+see also:
film profile], made €5.11 million in 2008 and Que se mueran los feos [+see also:

His collaboration with the cinema production division of Antena 3, Atresmedia Cine, will once more bear its fruits in this new film, which will most likely come out at the end of 2014.
