The list of contenders for the 2014 Golden Bears is complete

After the traditional announcement of the first titles of the Berlin competition before the Christmas holidays (that is six films, all of them produced or coproduced in Europe – read the article), fourteen new contenders for the Bears were added to the list, which is now complete. Amongst them, a good number of German films stand out (including the new film by Feo Aladag, praised for When We Leave [+see also:

All in all, the 20 selected movies represent 20 countries, from Algeria (with the new film by Rachid Bouchareb) to Uruguay, going through Japan, the United States (with Boyhood by Richard Linklater) and twelve European countries.
