A total of 12 feature length projects by 15 screenwriters and directors from 13 different countries have been selected for the 2014 edition of Script&Pitch, the screenwriting development programme from the TorinoFilmLab. This year’s selection will include young talent as well as more seasoned filmmakers. Among these, four directors who have already successfully taken part in the Turin Film Festival: György Pálfi (Hungary) who won the Holden school award for best screenplay in 2002 for his feature debut Hukkle, and who returned in 2012 with his experimental Final Cut: Ladies and Gentlemen [+see also:

; and Finnish Juho Kuosmanen, who with The Painting Sellers won the Cinéfondation Cannes award in 2010 and was selected at the TFF that same year.

Among the programme’s participants for 2014, the winner of the Discovery Award for best short at Cannes’ 2013 Critics’ Week Daria Belova (Russia), and Peter Krüger (Belgium), selected for Berlinale 2014 with his feature length N - The Madness of Reason in the Forum section (for a complete list of selections, click here).

by the 28-year-old French-Argentinian Benjamin Naishtat, developed during Script&Pitch 2010 and FrameWork 2011, will be in competition at the Berlinale.

The conclusive moment for S&P 2014 will be a public pitch at the 7th TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event (24-26 November) during the 32nd Turin Film Festival.
