Euros3.4m for distribution
On 14 April the CNC published its support budget for 2003 for distributors. The French institution has a total of Euros3.43m that it will share between 28 distributors in the following manner : Euros2.6m for films that get a theatrical release and Euros803,000 for the companies.
The list of distributors includes : Haut et Court (Euros304,000 for 8 films), Pyramide (Euros304,000), Diaphana Distribution (Euros280,000), Gemini Films (Euros240,000), Rezo Films (Euros228,000), Les Films du Losange (Euros210,000), Océan (140 000 euros), Pan Européenne Distribution (Euros140,000), ARP Sélection (Euros120,000) and Colifilms Distribution (Euros120,000).
The commission for selective financing for distribution, presided over by Raphaël Hadas-Lebel earmarked the following amounts for the following films: Euros20,000 for Racine by Richard Copans and distributed by Shellac, Euros22,000 for Dancing by Patrick Mario Bernard, Xavier Brillat and Pierre Trividic, distributed by Swift.
