BFI appoints three new members to Governing Board

The British Film Institute (BFI) has appointed Andrea Wong, Pete Czernin and Jonathan Ross to its Governing Board. Greg Dyke, Chair, BFI said, “Each new Board member brings a unique set of expertise, experience and insight to the table and we are very pleased to have three such talented individuals join us. The strength of the BFI Board has been greatly enhanced and it is well-placed to meet the opportunities and challenges of the next phase in the BFI’s development and growth.”

Andrea Wong is President of International Production for Sony Pictures Television and President of International for Sony Pictures Entertainment. Based in London, she is responsible for the studio’s international television production business, overseeing the creative teams outside the US as well as the eighteen owned and joint venture international production companies around the world.

Pete Czernin partnered with Graham Broadbent in 2005 and set up Blueprint Pictures, a London-based feature film production company which has produced seven feature films including: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel [+see also:

Jonathan Ross is a television and radio presenter. The Jonathan Ross Show is currently on air today.

The BFI Board of Governors is chaired by Greg Dyke and co-chaired by Libby Savill. The other Governors are: Josh Berger, Ashley Highfield, Tom Hooper, Matthew Justice, Peter Kosminsky, Pat Butler, Charles Cecil, Oona King, J Timothy Richards and Alison Cornwell.
