The French international sales company SND will be at the Marché du Film during the Cannes Film Festival (May 14-25, 2014) with 12 films, among which a thriller verging on horror movie Alleluia [+see also:

by Belgian Fabrice du Welz (watch the making of), which will be presented in its international premiere during Directors’ Fortnight on 22 May. Distributors will be able to watch it on May 17 and 19.

Lionel Uzan’s team will also launch a thriller on the Croisette: A Perfect Man by Yann Gozlan. Guided by WY Productions and 24 25 Films, the feature length film will start work in June, starring Pierre Niney (nominated at the César for best newcomer in 2012 and 2013 for J'aime regarder les filles [+see also:

 and admired in the series Les revenants). Co-written with the director and Guillaume Lemans (Fred Cavayé’s writing partner), the screenplay is centred around a writer going through hard times who steals a manuscript as he moves houses, and the book becomes a bestseller…

SND will show the Cannes market a promoreel of a film going through post-production Sex, Love & Therapy by Tonie Marshall, produced by Tabo Tabo Films in co-production Arena Productions and Entre Chien et Loup. Starring Sophie Marceau and Patrick Bruel, the film is about two sex addicts who manage a wedding agency and resist mutual attraction in order to concentrate on the work they are so good at, as their personal lives fall to pieces.

Another promoreel to be shown will be La famille Bélier by Eric Lartigau (with Karin Viard and François Damiens - article) and thriller SK1, la traque de Guy Georges (SK1) by Frédéric Tellier (starring Raphaël Personnaz, Olivier Gourmet and Nathalie Baye - article).

Among the rest of the market screenings, two premieres Get Well Soon by Jean Becker (coming out on 17 September 2014) and horror film Among the Living [+see also:

 by duo Julien Maury - Alexandre Bustillo (in French cinemas from last Wednesday). Finally, SND will continue working on the 3D feature length film Asterix: The Land of the Gods by Louis Clichy, which will be distributed in France next 26 November.
