by Ignas Jonynas continued its run as one of the most successful Lithuanian films of the year as it dominated the 2014 Silver Crane awards. The ceremony, dedicated to honouring the best of the Lithuanian film industry, saw the film pick up six awards, including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor. The movie is a stylish thriller about an ambulance driver whose addiction to gambling leads him to play a dangerous game with patients’ lives.

Also popular was Audrius JuzėnasThe Excursionist, based on the true story of an 11-year-old girl who escapes from a train of deportees heading to Siberia.
