by Colombian Franco Lolli. Produced by the French company Geko Films with Evidencia Films, the debut film will be distributed in France by Ad Vitam. The film tells the story of a ten-year-old boy, abandoned by his mother, who finds himself with a father he hardly knows and is clueless as to how to bring this child up. The carpenter father’s boss wants to help him out and invites them to spend Christmas in the countryside with her family. But the woman has not thought through the consequences of taking this young boy under her wing.

At the Cannes Marché du Film, Versatile will presell on the basis of promoreels Being 14 by French Hélène Zimmer (read the article) and Nasty Baby by Sebastian Silva, both of which are in post-production, and American horror movie Abattoir by Darren Lynn Bousman (in pre-production).
