Clermont-Tonnerre confirmed

by

Producer Antoine de Clermont-Tonnerre, the head of Mact Productions, has been re-elected to the presidency of the French producers’ and film exporters guild (CSPEFF).
Last year de Clermont-Tonnerre, who has been head of CSPEFF since April 1999, supervised the guild’s joining BLIC (the office that coordinates French film industry organisations). Following some heavy lobbying, last January , de Clermont-Tonnere asked the French Minister for Culture to implement stringent measures to protect the French film industry against the transfer of sets abroad, the overwhelming power wielded by TV companies and the inconsistencies of fiscal incentives for the film industry. De Clermont-Tonnerre asked Aillagon to put these measures in place before this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
The guild also appointed De Clermont-Tonnerre’s deputies : Frédérique Dumas Zajdela (Noé Productions), Jean Cazès (Initial Productions ) and Jean- François Lepetit (Flach Film), Michelle de Broca (Fildebroc ) becomes the guild’s treasurer while Manuel Munz (Vertigo Production) was named secretary.
