Let’s Go to the Cinema
The 3rd “Let’s go to the cinema” Student Film Festival will be held on May 10 2003 in Thessaloniki, Athens, Syros, Ioannina and Munich. One hundred and forty-six films made by students of 146 Greek high schools and institutes of higher education in Athens, Thessaloniki, the Cyclades, Epirus and Bavaria will take part. The “Let’s Go to the cinema” Student film festival is part of the educational programme of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and was first held in 2000, when 331 short films took part. A 7-man jury made up of leading figures in sport, journalism, film and literature will judge the films and the awards will be presented on the same day and at the same time at each venue.
