TorinoFilmLab announced 9 Framework 2014 projects (the development programme for debut and second films, which has now reached its 7th edition), which will be competing for Production Awards, an Audience Award and the parallel awards given out at the Turin laboratory at the TFL Meeting Event next November within the context of the Turin Film Festival.

The selection, made up of a large amount of projects from Script&Pitch (development programme from the TFL script), including 6 debut films and 3 second films, from 10 different countries:

Aleli by Ana Guevara and Leticia Jorge; producer: Agustina Chiarino (Uruguay) – second film

Carbon by Michalis Konstantatos; producer: Yorgos Tsourgiannis (Greece) – second film 

Hunting Season by Natalia Garagiola; producer: Benjamin Domenech (Argentina) – debut film 

Kodokushi by Janus Victoria (Philippines); producer: Masumi Soga (Japan) – debut film 

Pigs on the Wind by Stergios Paschos; producer: Phaedra Vokali (Greece) – debut film

Popeye by Kirsten Tan; producer: Weijie Lai (Singapore) – debut film

Participants will work on their projects during the course of two workshops over the course of one week, under the guidance of international experts. The first will take place on 22-29 July in San Miguel de Allende, with support from Guanajuato International Film Festival. The conclusive moment of the programme will be a public pitch at the 7th TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event (24-26 November 2014), during the Turin Film Festival. During this time, the jury will assign Production Awards (starting at €50,000), an Audience Award (€30,000) will be given to the most voted on project at the Decision Makers, and various awards will be assigned by partners of the TorinoFilmLab.
