The EAVE Producers Workshop is part of a European annual training programme offering participation in three workshops of one week each, a panorama on all aspects of cinema production: from development, to sales, distribution and marketing, as well as funding. The Bolzano workshop is the second in this cycle geared towards independent producers.
A total of 50 participants were selected out of 158 applications from around the world. Kristina Trapp, head of EAVE underlined “the excellent and judicious policy of localisation created by Christiana Wertz with the BLS. The region of Alto Adige is an ideal partner for EAVE, especially because of its location: an ideal place for co-productions among European countries. EAVE Bolzano will give our participants the possibility of closely getting to know the region.”
Christiana Wertz, head of BLS Film Fund & Commission, said that “some of the panels will also be open to local professionals and this is greatly valuable for our region. EAVE will also give Alto Adige the opportunity to show itself and its resources off to a global public.”
On Friday, June 20, EAVE@Bolzano will take place. The day will be dedicated to a local public with guests including Sarah Calderon (Marketing Tutor), Lise Lense-Møller (producer of Oscar-nominated Burma VJ [+see also:
