Integrated cinema and distribution group Curzon Film World, which includes iconic brand Artificial Eye, enjoyed a busy Cannes this year and has announced the acquisition of several titles for UK and Ireland distribution, following negotiations initiated at the Market. Curzon negotiated with Film Factory for Damián Szifron’s Argentinean dark comedy Wild Tales [+see also:

, co-produced by Pedro Almodovar. The company negotiated with MK2 for Olivier Assayas’ acclaimed Clouds of Sils Maria [+see also:

Curzon also dealt with Wild Bunch for Mikael Marcimain’s upcoming film Gentlemen and the related TV Series Gentlemen & Gangsters, both following a young author in the post-war Swedish underworld, and Gabe Polsky’s Red Army, about the history of the Soviet Union and its ice hockey team. Meanwhile, Le Pacte were the go-to agents for Wim Wenders and Juliano Salgado’s Un Certain Regard Special Prize-winning film The Salt of the Earth [+see also:
