(provisional title) is a comedy based on novel ''Giulia 1300 e altri miracoli'' by Fabio Bartolomei and written together with Marco Bonini.

(The article continues below - Commercial information)

Produced by Italian International Film and Warner Bros. Entertainment Italia, Noi e la Giulia tells the story of three forty-year-olds escaping the city and their own lives, one fifty-year-old out of his prime and one young woman. They all find themselves united – as complete strangers – trying to get a country bed and breakfast venture going. But they do it in the wrong place, at the wrong time and end up in much bigger trouble than they could ever have imagined. Beyond Leo, the cast includes Luca Argentero, Claudio Amendola, Anna Foglietta, Stefano Fresi and Carlo Buccirosso. The film, shooting for which has just kicked off, will take place over six weeks in Basilicata, with the exception of three days in Rome. The film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures on January 29, 2015.

Shooting also just kicked off for Vincenzo Marra (winner of Critics’ Week in Venice in 2001 with Sailing Home, also selected in 2012 in Venice during Venice Days for The Triplet [+see also:

) and his new film La prima luce starring Riccardo Scamarcio and Daniela Ramirez. Produced by Paco Cinematografica in collaboration with Rai Cinema and with support from the Apulia Film Commission. at Rome’s eco-park. The comedy was written and directed by newcomer Antonio Manzini and will star Libero De Rienzo, Pietro Sermonti, Rocco Ciarmoli and Giselda Volodi, produced by Combo Produzioni with support from MiBACT and the Apulia FC. The story is that of Christian, who only has one chance to change his life around: to go away and take on a new venture in Apulia. Christian will have to make deals with local bosses, trust drug dealer John Benzadrina, convince his friend Palletta to follow him in the venture, confront a beautiful woman and the most difficult feat of all: tell his girlfriend Teresa the truth – at least once. After two weeks in Lazio, the set will move down to Apulia.
