Produced by actor/director Baltasar Kormàkur (Hafid) and his Blue Eyes Productions with France’s Agat Films, Stormy Weather was made on location in France and the Westman Islands with a cast that includes Elodie Bouchez, Sigurlang Jonsdottir and Baltasar Kormàkur.
Gudjónsdóttir will also be working the Marché where the Icelandic Film Centre will present two feature films: the award-winning UK/German/Icelandic/German co-production, Nói the Albino by Dagur Kari and Madur eins og eg, di Robert I Douglas.
Iceland also has three co-productions at the Marché: Fire and Ice, currently in pre-production, White Lightening, directed by Asgrimur Sverrisson and produced by Ireland’s Magma Films and the Icelandic Film Corporation whose line up also includes domestic hit, Regina by Maria Sigurdardottir, co-produced with Canada’s Lafete.
