Director Stijn Coninx

The second 2014 session of Screen Flanders ended mid September. Eight projects will share an envelope of € 1,570,000. The aid allocated to each project ranges from around €95,000 to €360,000. Together, the eight projects selected should spend about €7,500,000 in Flanders. Screen Flanders supports audiovisual productions that spend a part of their budget in Flanders. Belgian producers can request up to €400,000 in repayable advances by way of economic aid for expenses in Flanders. A minimum of €250,000 must be invested in Flanders and the production must contribute to enriching the Region’s cultural heritage. At least one euro must be spent in Flanders for every euro of aid obtained.
