(The article continues below - Commercial information)

Written by Simon Moutaïrou and Julien Leclercq (who worked together previously on The Assault) with the collaboration of Jérôme Pierrat, the screenplay, according to our sources (and off-the-record, production wishing to keep the plot secret), sees a thief who has just been released from prison re-launch his career with a small gang by stealing new merchandise: passports. However, in seeking to get rid of the weapons used in the robbery, they arouse the curiosity and whet the appetite of a rival gang....

Produced by Julien Madon and Julien Leclercq for Labyrinthe Films, Braqueurs is co-produced by Maje Productions, Movie Pictures, Cinéfrance, by Belgian Umedia and by SND that will manage distribution in France and internationally. Pre-bought by Canal+ and Ciné+, the movie is also backed by Sofica Manon. Nine weeks of filming are planned in total.

Labyrinthe Films recently produced the very solid L'Affaire SK1 by Frédéric Tellier (in theatres since 7 January the movie sold 382 000 admissions during its first five weeks on show).
