(The article continues below - Commercial information)

Written by Fabienne Berthaud and Pascal Arnold (a working duo for Lily Sometimes), the screenplay is centred on Romy (Diane Kruger), a beautiful woman seemingly severe who is on a road-trip in the United States with her husband Richard (Gilles Lellouche). However, the holiday quickly turns into a settling of scores for this couple on the rocks. After a final and serious row, Romy decides to get her freedom back. She cuts her ties to a stable and secure life that has become alienating and escapes toward the unknown. Wandering through a noisy Las Vegas, and later amidst the fascinating depths of the desert, she continues on her lone voyage, relying only on her intuition. Freed, she will thus cross paths with Diego (Norman Reedus), a charismatic and solitary man with whom she will share an unbelievable and pure love...

Produced by Bertrand Faivre and Gabrielle Dumon for Le Bureau Films, Sky is co-produced by German Pandora Film and by the young Parisian company Vamonos Films (Grégoire Lassalle). Backed by OCS and by the Filmstiftung NRW, the feature was shot from 17 January to 20 February with Nathalie Durand (Blame It on Fidel [+see also:
