The Film Market of the 68th Cannes Film Festival continues to run its dynamic course for the French international sales agents. Here is a brief overview of the fresh announcements following those of Wednesday (read the news) and Thursday (read the news), as Films Distribution is already seeing buyers flock to its stand in the wake of the huge sensation caused yesterday evening by the press screenings of Lazlo Nemes’ sublime Hungarian feature Son of Saul [+see also:

, which will have its official premiere today at 4.30 pm in the Grand Théâtre Lumière.

MK2 (read the line-up news) has revealed that it has apparently sold the upcoming film by Stéphane Brizé, Une vie, abroad; the movie is based on the novel of the same name by Guy de Maupassant.
