UPDATE: The deadline for submissions has been extended to 1 July.

The HFM Co-Production Platform intends to encourage co-production collaborations between European countries. Therefore, every year, the event chooses about 20 international-driven projects in development. Selected participants will be given the opportunity to pitch their projects, receive feedback from leading film professionals and have one-on-one meetings.

European feature-length films suitable for co-production, with a minimum duration of 70 minutes and with local financial support in place (support from a public funding institution, TV channel or tax shelter), are eligible for selection.

The Holland Film Meeting collaboration with Cannes’ Producers Network will enable one of the producers of the selected projects to benefit from full accreditation for the Cannes event in 2016. Furthermore, the selected projects will compete for a number of development prizes, including the Cam-a-lot & Filmmore Cinema Emerging Talent Prize for the Best Project (worth €10,000 in camera and post-production facilities) and the Warnier Posta Prize (valued at €5,000 in audio post-production facilities in one of the Warnier Posta studios).

After assessment by a committee of industry experts, the project selection will be announced in mid-August 2015.
