. With this film, she is leaning more towards portraying the generation gap between teenagers who are children of the digital era and adults who are overwhelmed by values that they do not recognise. John, Abdul, Sammy and Lina belong to the digital generation, adopting the mind-set of “everything in abundance” and “every man for himself”. They seem not to be interested by very much at all and spend most of their time in a car park, where they listen to music and try out various different drugs. Despite his best efforts to make amends for his past behaviour, Kevin soon falls back into his old habits, dragging the whole group down with him as he edges towards a tragic fate.
