Today at Rome's International Audiovisual Market, True Colours, a new international sales company set up by Lucky Red and Indigo Film, made its debut appearance. Heading up the company is Catia Rossi, who has lengthy experience in sales abroad from her work with Rai Com.
The first titles in the line-up of the company, which was born with the aim of strengthening the internationalisation of Italian film, include Le confessioni by Roberto Andò, produced by Bibi Film in co-production with RAI Cinema and Barbary Films, starring Toni Servillo and Daniel Auteuil (currently in post-production), Io e lei [+see also:

“Thanks to the recent renewed international appeal of Italian film, we needed to bridge the representation gap in the market”, says Catia Rossi. “With their wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of the Italian and foreign market, Lucky Red and Indigo Film are the best partners we could have hoped for in embarking on this new venture. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity they have given me".
"True Colors aims to strengthen the potential of Italian film on the international market”, says Nicola Giuliano of Indigo Film. "As is already clear from the first films in our catalogue, we hope to work with a variety of Italian productions”.
Andrea Occhipinti adds: "Thanks to strong working relationships and years of experience in buying and co-production, the company will also be able to include international titles in its catalogue. By doing so it will put itself in a better position to penetrate the international market and increase the competitiveness of Italian film globally”.
