Caroline Cooper Charles, formerly Head of Creative Development at Warp X, is the new Head of Film at Creative England, the organisation that has backed winners like 45 Years [+see also:

. She was previously Creative England’s Senior Film Executive and also worked as a consultant with them, focusing on the creation and implementation of the company’s talent development strategy for filmmakers in the English regions.  Cooper Charles is also CEO at independent production company Universal Spirits, with her latest feature being The Incident. During her time at Warp X, Cooper Charles worked on low-budget features like Hush [+see also:

. Her executive producer credits include She, A Chinese [+see also:

that won the Golden Leopard at Locarno, and the Oscar-winning short Wasp.
