Five Italian films took over €1 million euros at the box office this season. The highest-grossing among them was Suburra [+see also:

, released on 14 October, which saw takings of €3,516,000 (as at 25 October). In its first weekend in theatres, Stefano Sollima’s film took €1,742,000. Suburra is the only Italian film to have made it into the overall top ten highest-grossing films of this season (which includes films released after 1 August), in eighth place.

In second place is comedy Tutte lo vogliono, directed by Alessio Maria Federici, which was released on 17 September and took a total of €1,867,000. In third place is Me, Myself and Her [+see also:
