Offered Boy by Marsa Makris is the only Greek film selected by the Cannes Film Festival. The short film is scheduled to screen in the short film competition on 24 May. First screened to both critical and popular acclaim at the International Film Festival of Drama, the film is about a young monk’s discovering what the world is really like. Marsa Makris, who just finished shooting another short film is currently preparing a documentary entitled Avaton.
