True Colours, the new international sales agent co-founded by Indigo Film and Lucky Red (read the article), will be at the upcoming European Film Market in Berlin to present a rich line-up including some of the most eagerly anticipated Italian films of 2016 and a raft of directors whose names are highly respected abroad.

The slate kicks off with three of the most interesting projects lined up for the year, which are still either in production or in post-production: Slam by Andrea Molaioli (The Girl by the Lake [+see also:

), based on the novel of the same name by Nick Hornby and produced by Indigo together with RAI Cinema. The cast includes Jasmine Trinca and Luca Marinelli, in addition to the two young lead actors, Ludovico Tersigni and Barbara Ramella. The Confessions by Roberto Andò, produced by BIBI Film, RAI Cinema and Barbary Films, is a political thriller that boasts a cast of international actors: Toni Servillo, Daniel Auteuil, Connie Nielsen, Pierfrancesco Favino, Moritz Bleibtreu, Marie-Josee Croze and Lambert Wilson. The film, which was presented at the MIA market in Rome, has been pre-sold in various territories, including Latin America (CDI films and MaresFilmes), Benelux (Imagine), Taiwan (SwallowWings), Greece (Danaos) and Hungary (Cinenuovo), and will be released in France by Bellissima.

True Colours is also taking four market premieres to the European Film Market: the first two are One Kiss [+see also:

It comprises more than 50 titles directed by the great masters of cinema such as Ettore Scola, Nanni Moretti, André Téchiné, Dino Risi and Dario Argento, and starring famous top-drawer actors such as Vittorio Gassman, Marcello Mastroianni, Emmanuelle Beart Nino Manfredi, Philip Noiret and Isabelle Huppert.
