, directed by Moritz Siebert and Estephan Wagner and co-directed by Abou Bakar Sidibé, will world-premiere at the upcoming 66th Berlin International Film Festival. Selected in the Forum section, the film follows the struggle of Sidibé himself, one of the thousand hopeful African migrants trying to get to the Spanish enclave of Melilla.

Moritz Siebert and Estephan Wagner said, "Initially, we gave Abou and his friend Baba a camera each and spoke a little about the fundamentals of filming; then the two began to shoot. When we first viewed the material, it turned out that Abou filmed a great deal and clearly had fun trying out working with the camera. This in turn intensified our collaboration with him." Abou Bakar Sidibé added, "It was very important to me that this time on the mountain and everything that happened there should be documented, so that our story, my story, would not be forgotten one day. And I wanted to show that we are people who are alive, not dead."

The film was produced by Danish outfit Final Cut for Real, whose filmography includes such titles as Joshua Oppenheimer's The Act of Killing [+see also:
