A total of 37 projects were selected to take part in fourstapleprogrammes and compete for awards: the nine projects selected (read more) to participate in the East European Forum (workshop, public pitching and round-table sessions) will be joined by 12 projects that were developed within the Ex Oriente Film workshop.

Sixteen projects (read more) will take part in Project Market, comprising one-on-one meetings with decision makers that can bring essential future co-operations and support to the participants.

The third edition of the transmedia-focused programme, Doc Tank, will present seven projects (read more).

A programme novelty, the presentation Czech Docs…Coming Soon will introduce five upcoming Czech documentaries to an audience of invited representatives of prestigious international festivals.

The motto of this year’s edition of the EDP is “Sight Specific", expressing both the diversity of creative approaches to a topic and revealing one of the focuses of the programme – site-specific screenings as an alternative form of distribution and encouraging author-audience dialogue.

Directors, producers and interested members of the public are welcome to purchase the EDP Industry Pass, which enables them to attend the Open Industry Programme of the EDP and One World IHRDFF, have their profile in the EDP Industry Guide, gain access to all screenings and video libraries, and embrace the opportunity to network with renowned documentary professionals. EDP Industry Passes can be obtained through the registration form until 25 February 2016.
