. Produced by Marco Belardi’s company Lotus Production (part of the Leone Film Group) for Mediaset, Immaturi - La Serie will be directed by Rolando Ravello and aired next year in a prime time slot on Canale 5.

Immaturi - La Serie brings the escapades of a likeable group of 40-year-olds who find themselves having to face their dreaded final high school exams for the second time to the silver screen. A stellar and sentimental comedy that brings one generation face to face with another and their lives which, after twenty years, have veered off in all directions, weaving between dreams and disappointments. The project is based on a storyline by Paolo Genovese (who has been entrusted with the artistic direction of the series), Marco Alessi, Paola Mammini and Giovanna Guidoni. Genovese, Mammini and Guidoni are also behind the screenplay.

The rich cast features Ricky Memphis, Luca Bizzarri, Paolo Kessisoglu, Maurizio Mattioli, Sabrina Impacciatore, Nicole Grimaudo, Irene Ferri, Paola Tiziana Cruciani, Ninni Bruschetta, Paolo Calabresi, Ilaria Spada, Daniele Liotti, Carlotta Antonelli and Andrea Carpenzano.

Filming, which will last 25 weeks, will take place in Rome and Sicily. The director of photography for the film is Fabrizio Lucci.
