“The New York audience was struck by the originality and sharpness of Paolo Genovese’s film,” remarked Frédéric Boyer, the gathering’s artistic director. “This award represents a significant recognition for the five screenwriters who wrote and re-wrote Perfect Strangers until it became a little gem.” As a reminder, the writers of the movie’s script were Filippo Bologna, Paolo Costella, Paolo Genovese, Paola Mammini and Rolando Ravello.
