In several films that Berlin-based world sales agent Films Boutique is presenting at the Film Market of the Cannes Film Festival, changing circumstances force the protagonists out of their daily routines. In the Un Certain Regard entry The Long Night of Francisco Sanctis by Andrea Testa, which is set in Buenos Aires in 1977, an ordinary family man receives information about an upcoming kidnapping operation by the soldiers of the dictatorship. He then has to decide whether to take a risk and try to save innocent lives.
