CinEast back for its ninth edition

CinEast, Luxembourg’s Central and Eastern European Film Festival, is back to celebrate its ninth edition from 6-23 October. The programme, unveiled yesterday, offers over 100 titles (including 62 feature-lengths and more than 40 short films from 18 countries) for this edition, which will be opened by Danis Tanovic’s highly acclaimed film Death in Sarajevo [+see also:

Eight films will be shown in the festival’s main competition, attempting to seduce the jury, which this year includes Mirjana Karanović (actress and film director, Serbia), Nico Simon (president of Europa Cinemas, Luxembourg), Pol Cruchten (film director, Luxembourg) and Dolya Gavanski (actress and film director, UK).
