, co-written and co-directed by father-and-son team Rade and Danilo Šerbedžija, is Macedonia's candidate for Best Foreign-language Film at the Academy Awards.

Based on the seminal Yugoslav theatre play by Dušan Jovanović, the film is a Second World War epic, made in co-production between Macedonia's Partysans and Kino Oko, Croatia's Lijeni Film and Mainframe Productions, Finland's Art Films Production, and the UK's Film and Music Entertainment

Besides Rade Šerbedžija,the cast includes Finnish actor Mikko Nousiainen, Lucija Šerbedžija, Silvija Stojanovska, David Todosovski and Petar Mirčevski. The music was composed by Macedonian guitar maestro Vlatko Stefanovski and Finnish composer Tuomas Kantelinen, Macedonia's Dejan Dimeski was the DoP, and the film was edited by Nicolas Gaster (Coriolanus [+see also:

This is the directorial debut by Rade Šerbedžija, a living legend of Yugoslav cinema and the Balkans' internationally best-known actor, who starred in numerous Hollywood productions, including Eyes Wide Shut and, most recently, The Legend of Hercules.

His son Danilo is known for the 2010 drama-comedy 72 Days [+see also:
