With a script crafted by the Canarian director himself, the film is a light-hearted look at the striking parallels between the laws of physics and the rules of love, showing how easily certain scientific ideas can be transposed to the context of relationships—or even, in some cases such as gravity or the ‘attraction force between two bodies’, applied literally. This is the premise for this romantic comedy in the guise of a documentary, the plot of which can be summed up as “insecure guy falls for unattainable woman.”

The Laws of Thermodynamics will be produced by Zeta Cinema and Atresmedia Cine in association with Televisió de Catalunya, Atresmedia ICAA and ICEC. Sony Pictures Releasing will be distributing the film in Spain.
