A newcomer is about to be added to the list of Belgian film festivals, in the form of the Liège International Comedy Film Festival. The gathering’s founders intend to fill a glaring gap in the Belgian, and indeed European, film landscape. The festival will host a feature-film competition, the jury for which will be chaired by French actor-director Eric Judor, flanked by French actors Daniel Prévost, Antoine Duléry and Dominique Pinon, Belgian actor Guy Lecluse, Belgian producer Olivier Bronckart and Belgian journalist Cathy Immelen.

Incidentally, we should note that half of the films are by actors who have made the leap behind the camera. The results of the competition will be unveiled on 26 November.
