winning the €5,000 "Aleksandar Saša Petrović" Grand Prix, named after one of the great auteurs of the Yugoslav Black Wave.

Cristi Puiu received the Best Director Award for his Cannes competition entry Sieranevada [+see also:

, and the jury, consisting of last year's winner (Indian director Gurvinder Singh), Polish director Małgorzata Szumowska and Petra Weisenburger, managing director of the NIPKOW Programm, gave the Special Jury Prize to Heart of Sarajevo winner Albüm [+see also:

In the Brave Balkans section, the Best Film Award went to another Sarajevo laureate: Serbian director Milica Tomić's short Transition.

The 22nd Festival of Auteur Film screened 81 arthouse films from all over the world and sold around 24,000 admissions.
