The Dardenne brothers return to their favourite location in Valon, a dramatic land of great contradictions, with this story about a young man's rather unhealthy interest in a carpenter... Luc and Jean Dardenne walked away with Cannes highest honour, the Palme d´Or, in 1999 for Rosetta. With this new film, they once again show us the important contribution of film to contemporary society.
