Netherlands Film Production Incentive: 21 new projects for the first round of 2017
Director Katarina Launing

Twenty-one new film projects have been granted €6.1 million as part of the Netherlands Film Production Incentive, one of the Netherlands Film Fund's schemes that is based on a cash-rebate system, offering an incentive of 30% of the eligible production cost. The amount is expected to generate more than €27 million in production expenditure in the Netherlands.

Fifteen fiction features, five documentaries and one animated project are among the titles selected in the scheme’s first round of 2017 – three more rounds are scheduled to follow later this year (the deadlines are 9 May, 29 August and 31 October).
