"From a cultural as well as from an economical point of view, this co-production agreement is an important step for film and audiovisual professionals in both countries. It will facilitate co-productions between our respective industries and offer access to our common theatrical markets," says Daleiden. "We are looking forward to working closely together with China on the promotion and distribution of our films at festivals and other events. The agreement will help foster the creative and business links our industries need to share good practices and learn from each other. Luxembourg has strong diplomatical, economical and financial relations with China and thus it is important to also intensify cultural relations between our countries, because arts and culture offer the best opportunity for mutual respect and understanding" concludes Daleiden.
