All you need is a screen (large or small: size doesn’t matter) and an internet connection, and you’ll easily be able to enjoy a magnificent arthouse film festival: edition number seven of the Atlántida Film Fest, organised by the Filmin VoD platform, gets under way on Monday 26 June and will last one whole month. That same day, Palma de Mallorca’s residents and visitors will also be able to gain entry to the free screenings and the various workshops that make up the rich, week-long programme of a gathering that gets more and more appealing every year. This time around, the Balearic island will host the screenings of 18 films, selected from among the 76 features and five shorts that make up the online programme.

It’s the biggest online festival in the world, and the only one that is solely focused on talking about Europe.” Accordingly, its programme will be divided into five thematic areas – Memory, Generation, Politics, Borders and Education – and there will be an additional focus dedicated to Russia on the occasion of the centenary of the country’s revolution.
