), the story revolves around Vincent and Arnaud, two graduates from the HEC business school in Paris who, to all appearances, have good jobs and are comfortably off in their lives. Produced by Julien Madon (a 2016 European Film Promotion Producer on the Move – read the interview) and Julien Leclercq for Labyrinthe Films, with Arthur Benzaquen in charge of art production, Budapest is being co-produced by Frères Zak Productions and Maje Productions. Having been pre-purchased by Canal+, OCS and C8, the film is also being backed by the Indéfilms, Cinémage, Palatine, Soficinetv, Cinecap and La Banque Postale Image Soficas. The seven-week shoot will take place in Paris and Budapest, with Gilles Porte serving as DoP. The French distribution will be handled by Warner Bros and international sales by Other Angle Pictures.
