The storyline, written by Dupieux himself, is still being kept under wraps by the producers, but as the title suggests, the plot will unfold in a police station and will apparently revolve around a murder case that needs to be solved and a man who has been wrongfully accused.

Produced by Thomas Verhaeghe and Mathieu Verhaeghe for Atelier de ProductionAu poste has been pre-purchased by Canal+ and OCS, and is receiving support from the CNC’s advance on receipts as well as backing from the Ile-de-France region (where the five-week shoot will take place from 4 September-6 October). The French distribution will be handled by Diaphana, while WTFilms will take care of international sales.
