Written by Forgeard himself, the story revolves around Jérem, a young musician who heads off to the suburbs to shut himself away and compose his first record. A researcher from a high-tech firm persuades him to trial Yves, a smart refrigerator that is designed to make his life easier. Little by little, the "fridgebot" wins his user’s trust, and ends up having a profound influence on his career – and his entire life.

Produced by Emmanuel Chaumet for Ecce FilmsYves has been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+. The feature has also secured backing via the CNC’s advance on receipts and is being supported by the Ile-de-France region, where the 38-day shoot will take place. The French distribution and international sales will be handled by Le Pacte.
