The 68th Berlin International Film Festival (15-25 February) has announced the selection for its Berlinale Series section. Highly successful since its introduction in 2015, when it was born as the Berlinale Special Series programme, the section will now run under the new name (Berlinale Series) and move to a new venue, Zoo Palast, from the 2018 festival onwards. In 2015, the Berlinale was the first category-A festival worldwide to create an individual special programme for series within the official programme. Since then, acclaimed titles such as Better Call Saul, The Night Manager, False Flag and 4 Blocks have celebrated their world or international premieres in Berlin.
