Casanova will be executive-produced by Kristina Larsen for Les Films du Lendemain and by Jean-Pierre Guérin for JPG Films, and co-produced by France 3 Cinéma and Czech outfit Sirena Film. Having also been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature will be shot over eight weeks between March and May in Ile-de-France, the UK and the Czech Republic. The French distribution will be handled by Diaphana and the international sales by Elle Driver.

As a reminder, Les Films du Lendemain previously worked with Benoît Jacquot on Farewell My Queen and Diary of a Chambermaid.
