), revolves around nine translators hired to translate the eagerly awaited final book of a best-selling trilogy, who are confined to a luxurious bunker. When the first ten pages of the top-secret manuscript appear online, the dream job becomes a nightmare – the thief is one of them, and the publisher (Wilson) is ready to do whatever it takes to unmask him… or her. This suspenseful, edge-of-your-seat whodunit should keep audiences riveted until the very end.

Produced by Alain Attal for Trésor FilmsThe Translators has secured co-productions by France 2 CinémaMars Films (which will oversee the distribution in French theatres), Wild Bunch (which is selling the film internationally) and Belgium’s Artémis Productions. Having been pre-purchased by OCS and Canal+, the feature is also being backed by three Soficas (Cofinova, Indéfilms and Cinécap). The shoot, which kicked off on 22 January, has been taking place entirely in Ile-de-France, with Guillaume Schiffman (Oscar-nominated and winner of the César Award in 2012 for The Artist [+see also:
