The international educational and networking platform Visegrad Film Forum will be held for the seventh time on the grounds of the Slovakian Faculty of Film and Television VŠMU in Bratislava. The event styles itself as a meeting ground for up-and-coming filmmakers and future film professionals hailing from film schools in Central Europe and beyond. The event aims to “set up a platform for collaborations between young filmmakers and will support mutual dialogue”.

The seventh iteration will welcome a host of accomplished film professionals, who will speak about their experiences during master classes. Three Colours: Blue, directed by Krzystof Kieślovski, will be introduced by its DoP, Slawomir Idziak, who will talk about transforming a literary script into film form and his experience of working in Hollywood. British editor Mick Audsley will give a lecture on how a film is constructed in the editing room, “The Hidden Power of Movie Material”, and will present a case study on Twelve Monkeys.
