September’s Cinergie
In the wide range of material on offer in the September issue of the webzine Cinergie, there’s a focus on Belgium cinema, currently going through a period of strong expansion. The numerous interviews include one with the actress Emilie Dequenne (Rosetta, A Housekeeper) who stars alongside Jane Birkin in The Very Merry Widows [+see also:

film profile], by the French director, Catherine Corsini. There is also a feature on Jeremy Hamers, the winner of the 2003 Kieslowski Prize.
Cinergie is also publishing interviews with Renaud Gilles who’ll be producing a TV programme about short films, Jan De Clercq, who is launching a new distribution company for art house films called "Lumière", and the production house Cobra Films, which focuses on the documentary sector.
