An agreement has been announced between Ministers Richard Miller and Bert Anciaux and Belgium Film Library to produce in DVD form the entire national treasury of Belgian films. The DVDs will be enhanced with added audio-visual content such as interviews with filmmakers and cinematographic commentary. According to Belgian daily, «Le Soir», the project proposes to produce 6 to 10 DVDs per year and market them through one of the most important DVD distributors in the nation, which has a particular interest in the project. Among the first films to be transferred to DFD will be those of André Delvaux, Paul Meyer or Jean Jacques Andrien.
